June Extras

Here are some extra projects that got done in June that were not on my Goals list:

 

Stephanie gave me her scrap of jersey from her maxi shirk she made back at the Sewing Summit (fun class!). I made it into a comfy top. You can wear it with a belt to dress it up for going out, or wear it by itself for an around the house top, OR tie up a corner and wear it over a leotard or dance top and dance away !

A bag of crumbs waiting to be used as stuffing.

Convertible fold over clutch. I have been meaning to make this since last May.

Oh did I mention I got a job teaching Jewelry at Jo-Ann's?

The curves class project from the Sewing Summit last year. I finally finished it. And turned it into a pillow, to match the quilt I made my Hubby.

Made this t-shirt nightgown. Supper comfy!

Finished this skirt my friend started years ago (just added elastic).

Crapola!~

I just sent the giveaway package off to someone other than it was intended for! I e-mailed them both to figure out what to do.

 

Having you wisdom teeth pulled out on Wednesday and trying to do business 3 days later does not work well....

 

Camp Stitchalot Bag: Tested!

I tested this pattern for Sara at Sew Sweetness.

 

This is a great bag. It has lots of pocket (I love pockets! Who doesn't?). I uses fabric from Joann's (I am so bad, I never look at the designer or line), all I know is that it is lovely! It was fairly easy to stitch up though there were lost of layers to sew through at one point.

 

I am keeping it next to the sofa where I do all my hand-crafts, and storing said crafts inside :)

 

Also thinking of making a smaller version for a travel case for crafts/cosmetics. Credit to Sara of course :)

 

Summer Giveaway 3 of 4

On to the 3rd Summer Giveaway!

 

The third Box to go is filled with Quilty type stuff. Again, just a bunch of random stuff (if you win and don't like what you got I will not be offended if you toss it out or re-giveaway it. I just can't stand to toss stuff out if there is even a chance it could be used. But you can!).

I need to get my machine fixed so that it will do button holes again... But that is all that is left!

11. Trendy skirt:

  Version 1 - I made the waistband too wide so I am going to give this to my sister since she is a larger woman that I (just all around bigger, taller etc. Big boned)

 

Version2 - A shorter version with an encased elastic for the waistband. This one stays with me.

3. Finish Baby blanket for Lori's charity drive (My MIL goes to this crochet group where they give you yarn and you tank it home and make things for babies and then bring them back to be donated.)

 

Oh well I will just have to move some of these UFOs over to next month.. :P
