Step 5: Cut out pattern pieces from old sheets so you do not accedentally mess up and fudge your fabric supply. I did not account for seam allowance so I am adding 1/4" to each piece on each side before I cut.

How about some night sky for the background?

I printed the notice onto fabric paper.

Step 6: Tardis Sample - All sewn up.

Step 7: Use the mock up as a template for the actually pieces as you cut. Place on top and pin, judt to know where the pieces go.
